The first time Jesus came to Earth, he came to save the world from their sins. But when he comes back the second time, it’ll be to judge the world for its sins. Whoever accepted his blood sacrifice the first time he came will be saved, but those who rejected his blood sacrifice will reap his divine wrath the second time he comes.
2,000 years ago, we exited out of the period of the law. Now, we are in the season of grace. But we are now coming to the end of the season of grace, and we are entering into the time of judgment.
Hear me, people of God. Divine Judgment is coming to this world. And Jesus will return like a thief in the night. He’s going to come at a time that no one expects it, so that everyone will be caught in the middle of whatever it is they are doing. Those who are living righteously will be caught in their righteousness. And those who are in their sins will be caught in their sins. No one will be able to pretend as if they have been living for Him.
Matthew 24:37-44
When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days before the flood, the people were enjoying banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat. People didn’t realize what was going to happen until the flood came and swept them all away. That is the way it will be when the Son of Man comes. “Two men will be working together in the field; one will be taken, the other left. Two women will be grinding flour at the mill; one will be taken, the other left. “So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming. Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into. You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.
Revelation 22:11-12
Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy. Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done.”
If you are already saved, continue steadfast in the faith and stay in perpetual readiness for the return of Christ. If you are saved but are in a backslidden state, repent and come back to your first love. If you have never repented of your sins and accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, this is the time to do so. Don’t wait until tomorrow, for tomorrow is not promised and it very well might be too late.
