Revised: 7/26/2025

PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY DISCLAIMER CAREFULLY. BY BECOMING AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF TRANSPARENT FOR CHRIST MOVEMENT, YOU AGREE TO ADHERE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. THESE POLICIES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. ANY CHANGES WILL BE POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE FROM TIME TO TIME. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST MEMBERSHIP.

All individuals who are interested in joining any of Transparent For Christ Movement’s Facebook Groups, WhatsApp Communities, or Local LifeGroups will be pre-screened by a group administrator. Individuals who are successfully pre-screened are required to complete an official Membership Profile and Consent Form for accountability purposes and to grant TFCM the right to collect your information.

The information you provide will be collected through Google Forms, a survey administration software, which will provide the group administrator(s) with a centralized and organized way to review and filter through every member’s profile data.

On the form, you will notice it asks for you to share some personal information. Here’s why:

First, Last Name: Many people prefer to go by their street name, nickname, or social media pseudo name, which is fine for your own safety and confidentiality. You may use an alias name while in the group to remain anonymous among other group members. However, your real name is being asked on the form for verification and security purposes, and so group administrator(s) can know who has joined the community.

Phone Number, Email: TFCM uses Gloo, a communications technology platform, to send SMS and MMS (text and multimedia messages). Your phone number is required to receive important announcements and reminders from TFCM. (Gloo services are currently only available to members located in U.S. and Canada). Your phone number is also required to add you to the international WhatsApp community chat, and to receive accountability calls from a group admin, if you consent. Your email is required to add you to the TFCM listserv and newsletter, if you consent.

In the event Facebook or WhatsApp shuts down or one’s account is deleted/deactivated, it’s considered a best practice to have an alternative way of keeping in contact with all members. The best way to keep the line of communication active is through phone call, text, email, and/or mailing address.

Mailing Address, Occupation: Some fields are optional to share, such as your home address and occupation. Though not required, they are asked in the event you would like to have a resource mailed to you or to connect you with others who may be in your same career field for peer-to-peer learning or to ask for your expertise on a subject matter.

Birthday: Due to the nature of the sexual conversations disclosed in this ministry, you are being asked to share your birthday in order to ensure all members are over the legal age of 18 and that no minors are in the group.

Marital Status: Knowing your marital status will help the group administrator(s) to offer services to you that you may benefit from (For example: married men–or those interested in marriage–can join our Transparent For Christ: Husband’s Group to receive counseling or mentorship in the area of marriage).

City, State: Your city/state is a required field so you can be added to the appropriate Facebook sub-chat, WhatsApp sub-group, or local LifeGroup that is nearest you.

Ethnicity, Country, Continent: Since Transparent For Christ Movement is an international ministry, information such as your ethnicity, country, and continent will be used for general data and statistical purposes to know where everyone is from. It also helps to know what time zones everyone is in so the group administrator(s) can be mindful of the time they schedule Zoom Meetings or offer to give you a call.

Your consent matters: Certain questions on the form ask for your consent on certain things like: being added to an email list, a WhatsApp chat, receiving a call from a group moderator, joining a local life group, or to serve on the admin team.

Disclaimer: All of your responses are stored in a confidential, password protected, online database, only accessible to group administrators (TFCM’s founder, Davon Johnson, and any group moderator whom has been selected to assist in the work of ministry). Your information will not be shared or sold to any third parties, and will only be used for internal purposes related to this ministry, as mentioned in this disclaimer. By submitting the Membership Profile and Consent Form, you consent to having your information used for the reasons stated.
