In 2009, Transparent For Christ Movement began as a U.S.-based ministry offering exclusive 1-on-1 mentorship and discipleship to men and women of all walks of life, who were seeking healing from different forms of sexual brokenness and/or misplaced identities (with a heavy focus on LGBTQ+ issues).
As more and more individuals from all over the world began reaching out for help — seeking accountability, fellowship, and solidarity among other “Overcomers” — TFCM began to expand its ministry, and by 2023, it began offering group mentorship and peer-to-peer community support. As an international ministry, the group mentorship and community support is offered via Facebook Groups and WhatsApp Chats.
Within these online groups, members post scriptures, songs, testimonials, confessions, prayer requests, resources, weekly check ins, and participate in bi-monthly meetings via Zoom every 2nd and 4th Saturday to engage in different topics related to faith, sexual purity and developing healthy relationships. As the ministry name suggests, “transparency” among members has been key for healing and building trust and connection.
In 2024, TFCM began the process of launching LifeGroups in select locations around the world. A LifeGroup is a small group of believers who meet in each other’s homes or in a similar intimate setting for fellowship, Bible discussion, and prayer in an effort to grow closer to God and closer to one another. In a fun and comfortable environment, LifeGroups serve as a way to cultivate spiritual growth.
There are LifeGroups being formed in every continent.
