Incoming Call

I keep hearing in my spirit:

Incoming call. Press the pick up button to answer. Incoming call. Press the pick up button to answer. Incoming call. Press the pick up button to answer.

Father God has been calling many of us to his son Christ Jesus for salvation. But many of us are not answering the call. He calls us through dreams and visions. He calls us through warnings. He calls us through other believers who preach the gospel to us. He calls us through his word, the Holy Bible. He calls us by conviction of the Holy Spirit. But we are not answering the call.

We are rejecting the call because we feel as if we are too young to get saved. Because we are afraid that we will fail him. Because we are afraid of laying down our lives and our will for his. Because we think that being saved is going to be boring. Because we have things in our lives that we aren’t ready to give up yet. Some of us know that God is calling us, and we either ignore the call or completely reject the call. But God is so gracious and his love is so relentless, that he will call again and again and again, hoping that we’ll one day answer his call.

But there will come a time when it will be too late to answer his call. Whether you die in your sins before you get the opportunity to answer or whether he comes back on Judgement Day. It will be too late then. So answer the call now! You are being called into the kingdom of God. Called into sonship. Called into Fellowship of our Lord Jesus Christ!
